Our listed sizes in the tables above refer to the paper size, not just the printed image. You have the option to include a print border around your artwork—just let us know when placing your order!

How Print Borders Affect Pricing

No Extra Cost: If the border fits within the chosen paper size (e.g., an A3 image with a border on A3 paper, where the image is slightly reduced).

Possible Extra Cost: If the printed image must remain exactly A3 in this example and a border is added, the final paper size will be larger than A3, this may slightly increase the cost, but this varies depending on the paper sizes and the border sizes. It all depends on how much extra paper wastage there is at the printing stage so it’s worth checking in advance as it does not always add to the cost.

All of our fine art giclee printing papers are listed below. Our most popular fine art papers are Fotospeed NST Bright White & Hahnemuhle Photo Rag. These two papers account for around 90% of what we print, however we also stock quite a few others too.

Hahnemuhle Photo Rag 308gsm
Matt Fine Art Paper
Hahnemuhle Photo Rag is probably the most well known heavyweight giclee fine art paper on the market. Photo Rag 308gsm is a very versatile paper suited to artists, illustrators & photographers. It is a 100% cotton fine art paper with a smooth surface texture with its premium matt inkjet coating, Photo Rag® meets the highest industry standards regarding density, colour gamut, colour graduation and image sharpness while preserving the special touch and feel of genuine art paper.
Fotospeed NST Bright White
Matt Fine Art Paper
This is our most popular fine art giclee printing paper with photographers, Artists & Illustrators and also my personal favourite. The quality is always excellent from batch to batch and there is less paper curl than most other papers. Weight is 315 gsm and is 100% cotton. The paper has a very gentle soft texture that is almost identical to Hahnemuhle Photo Rag, just on very slightly whiter base that is extremely difficult to tell the difference when they are side by side. The paper’s bright base and gentle texture lends itself towards a range of subjects and delivers a high D-MAX and wide colour gamut.
Fotospeed Smooth Cotton 300

Fotospeed Smooth Cotton 300 is the smoothest matt paper in our line up. It has a 300gsm weight, is PH neutral and is 100% cotton. The ultra smooth surface is ideal for high saturation images and artists looking for an ultra smooth surface in their matt prints. Developed with the landscape photographer Joe Cornish it is part of Footspeed’s signature range of fine art giclee printing papers. This paper is more popular with photographers as opposed to artists.
Fotospeed Platinum Cotton 305

This is a brand new fine art giclee printing paper launched by Fotospeed in 2018. Platinum Cotton 305 is a 100% cotton, Acid & OBA free Fine Art paper with a smooth natural white surface. Platinum Cotton 305 use the latest coating technology resulting in a wide colour gamut and pin sharp detail.
Canson Rag Photographique 310
Matt Fine Art Paper
Rag Photographique is 100% cotton OBA fress museum grade white Fine Art and Photo Paper.
The paper has a smooth surface with a sensual feel. It has a high DMAX with good tonal gradations, making it ideal for fine art photography as well as fine art printmaking. Designed to meet galleries and museum longevity requirements and respect the ISO 9706 standard.
Fotospeed Platinum Etching 285
Matt Fine Art Paper
Platinum Etching 285gsm weight is 100% acid free, fine art paper with a velvety, textured surface. It has a higher texture than most of our other fine art papers. A natural white base and state of the art ink-receiving layer, delivers a high D-MAX and wide colour gamut. Platinum Etching is 25% cotton and 75% alpha-cellulose. It is suited for both artists and photographers requiring texture in their images.
Hahnemuhle Torchon

Hahnemuhle Torchon is our most textured paper. It it a bright white, 100% α-cellulose paper that guarantees archival standards. This watercolour paper features a distinct textured surface. This watercolour paper has a heavy textured surface, it is ideal for art, photography and limited edition prints, but the heavy texture makes this paper suited to certain types of images and is not a gerneral purpose fine art paper.

FineArt Pearl – a bright white, 100% a-cellulose paper that guarantees archival standards. Hahnemuhle Fine Art Pearl has a paper weight of 285gsm and a smooth orange peel surface texture and a bright base offering punchy colours and is ideal for both photography and art prints.

Lustre Photo Paper
Fotospeed PF Lustre 275 gsm paper has a bright white base on a lustre finish. The paper offers a high D-MAX that delivers beautiful images in both colour and black & white.
Canson Platine Fibre Rag 310
Fine Art Smooth Satin Surface
Canson® Infinity Platine Fibre Rag as the name suggests, is a rag fibre based paper manufactured to the highest archival standards. It contains no brighteners and with its pure white tone and smooth satin surface, it renders subtle tones beautifully. Platine Fibre Rag is internally buffered to resist gas fading and maximise the preservation of your prints. Acid-free certified to avoid paper degradation.
Platine Fibre Rag’s extremely high Dmax and exceptional grey tones make it the product of choice for the more discerning black and white as well as colour photographic prints.
Fotospeed Platinum Baryta 300
Smooth Unglazed Gloss Surface
One of my own personal favourite non matt papers. This photographic paper is fantastic for both colour and B&W work.
Platinum Baryta 300 is 100% acid-free, Fine Art paper with a smooth unglazed gloss surface. A natural white base and state of the art micro-porous ink receiving layer delivers a high D-MAX (2.7) and wide colour gamut. Platinum Baryta 300 reveals delicate highlights and smooth transitions to shadows for both colour and B&W printing. The paper is approved by the Fine Art Trade Guild.
Canson Arches Aqaurelle Rag 310
A genuine 100% Rag paper with a watercolour finish. The watercolour texture gives a unique finish. The paper complies with the highest archival standards and is extremely age resistant. One more for artists as opposed to photographers it’s one of our most popular papers for artists and nice and durable for a heavily textured paper offering stunning fine art prints.
Hahnemuhle German Etching 310gsm
Hahnemühle German Etching is a traditional mould-made copperplate printing paper, complete with an inkjet coating designed especially for FineArt applications. The white art paper made from 100% alpha cellulose is characterised by its extraordinary velvety tactile feel and its fine, clearly defined felt structure. This paper is very popular with artists and illustrators looking for a textured finish.
